The Saturday
Melissa brought me to the States again to go and see the parade in the town. The parade started from around 11 am and finished at 1 pm. At the very beginning of the parade some police cars and horses came down and made sure that the street was clear. Then there were tractors and more horses. We also had people throwing candies for children. So every time we saw a person with a bag with candies in it Savannah and I ran to get some. However because it was really sunny and hot outside we soon got tired and stopped.
I enjoyed watching the parade very much because we don't usually have a parade in Japan. Tyler told me it was a common thing in the U.S. I wish we could do those kind of things in Japan too.
After the parade we went to have a lunch in a Mexico restaurant. I ordered two small tacos again because I wasn't really hungry. Then we all went home and had a nap since we were tired.
Ummm... I love Mexican food! Fish tacos are my favourite. Do you remember the name of the parade? What were they celebrating?
